Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Shift: Nights / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa

Pay: $2,550/week (all-inclusive)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Sioux City, IA. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and has proven expertise in managing laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor vital signs and fetal heart rates, manage complications, and respond to emergencies promptly
• Administer medications and assist with epidurals or other procedures
• Collaborate closely with OB/GYNs, midwives, pediatricians, and other healthcare staff
• Educate and support patients and families during the birthing process
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital protocols

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa (or compact license)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills

Contract Details:

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours/week (12-hour night shifts)
• Weekly Pay: $2,550 (includes hourly wage, stipends, etc.)
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
