Job Title: RN Operating Room

Location: Des Moines, Iowa, 50309

Schedule: 4X10

Shift:Days

Pay Range: $2600- $2715.20/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including trauma, neuro, cardiac, ortho, robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other team members to ensure safe, timely, and effective care delivery
• Maintain sterile technique and actively participate in surgical timeouts and safety protocols
• Monitor and document patient responses, vitals, and interventions throughout the surgical experience
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and assist with instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Handle and document specimens properly
• Prepare ORs for upcoming procedures and ensure efficient room turnover (goal: under 20 minutes)
• Participate in emergency cases and trauma activations as needed

Requirements,Education and Certifications:

• Active RN License
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years recent OR experience in a hospital setting preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (Medical/Religious exemptions available)
• Epic experience is a must
