Shift Details

• Type: Nights
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts/week
• Weekend Coverage: Every other or every third weekend plus holiday rotation

Job Summary

As a member of UnityPoint’s interdisciplinary team, the Labor & Delivery RN contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills to patient care through the nursing process, including delivery room procedures and potential floating to postpartum/mother-baby units.

Electronic Medical Record: EPIC COVID vaccination is required; medical and religious exemptions are available upon request.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current Labor & Delivery experience in a hospital setting
• OR experience required
• May float to Mother-Baby/Postpartum units
• Certifications required:
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• NRP
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
  

License Requirements

• Valid Iowa RN license
• Compact license accepted
